Celebrate spring at the Getty Center with this vibrant and interactive family festival. Explore the fabulous gardens in full bloom with an artist-designed map for your quest. Decorate your own crown with colorful cardboard flowers, participate in a live model drawing workshop with the gardens as your background, and discover the joys of Hawaiian music and dance with processions that weave through the Center. It’s a day for all the senses!

Have you ever dreamed of meeting a peregrine falcon, lemur, spider monkey, tortoise, or alligator up close? Experience a true once-in-a-lifetime encounter with animals from around the globe! As we celebrate nature, learn about animals that are currently endangered or were once endangered, and how Conservation Ambassadors saved them, giving us the privilege to see these magnificent creatures today.

Based on one of the oldest and most beloved Persian tales, puppeteers narrate the story of Khorshid, a compassionate and valiant boy, on his remarkable journey to rescue a young girl trapped inside a narenj (a cross between a lemon and an orange). Featuring music by Arezoo and Vandad.

The Getty Center is more than a container for artwork—it is a work of art itself! Explore this architectural wonder using a specially drawn map by artist Kiel Johnson. Track down ten of his favorite locations and unlock their secrets!

Pick up your map in the Museum Courtyard at the information table just outside the Entrance Hall doors. When you complete your journey, come back to the information table to pick up your Garden Quest button (while supplies last).
