The mythical Trojan War was a conflict of multiculturalism colliding with a fear of strangers and the idea of expanding borders clashing with national egoism. Not unfamiliar in this day and age, Trojan War draws on this multilayered story and reaches back to the history of the ancient Mediterranean, seeking the sources of today’s conflicts and addressing the symptoms of a widespread contemporary crisis.
Trojan War is directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, artistic director of acclaimed Polish theater TR Warszawa. Tickets $7.
