British Museum curator Irving Finkel tells a real-life detective story that began with the arrival in 2008 of a palm-sized Babylonian cuneiform tablet. Dating from about 1850 BC, this clay document proved to be a copy of the Babylonian Story of the Flood, a myth from ancient Mesopotamia containing instructions for building a boat. Finkel shares his research and additional discoveries that provide unanticipated revelations about the ark before Noah.
