Susano-o no Mikoto (Shinto character)

Note: Shinto deity of storms, water, and the underworld; younger brother of the sun goddess, Amaterasu. Sometimes depicted with a sword, referencing his battle with a dragon to obtain the sword. This weapon, along with the mirror to lure his sister Amaterasu out of hiding, and the magatama jewel, consist the three major symbols of the Japanese imperial regalia.
