Additional Notes: |

Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt voor het geven van geluidseinen. De scheepsklok, vaak van brons of messing, bevindt zich meestal op de bak bij het braadspit of de fokkemast en wordt daar gebruikt om signalen te geven bij mist, tijdens ankermanoeuvres, maar ook voor het slaan van de glazen, het geven van alarm bij brand, het samenroepen van het volk e.a. De bel wordt opgehangen aan een galg of onder een klokkestoel. Aan de klepel hangt een allemanseind. |
