Note: Multistemmed shrub typically found in wet environments near ponds or streams. It may grow from 10 to 20 feet high, and has long branches with green or gray bark and long, narrow leaves. Dutch ..... Meerstammige struik die vooral voorkomt in vochtige omgevingen bij stilstaand of stromend water. De struik wordt tussen 3 en 6 meter hoog en heeft lange takken met groene of grijze bast en lange, smalle bladeren. De plant komt inheems voor in Europa en Aziƫ, maar hij wordt ook op veel andere plekken gekweekt. De stevige, buigzame takken worden veel gebruikt voor mandenwerk.
