Note: Vehicles with two wheels in tandem propelled by the rider straddling a diamond-shaped frame mounting wheels seat and steering handle bars, with a horizontal bar as the top element joining the handlebars to the seat post. These are the basic elements of most bicycles with the exception of those that have eliminated or dropped the top horizontal bar to accommodate women's skirts. Historically some bicycles with identical structure have been marketed as either "men's bicycles" or "women's bicycles" as fashions changed.
