De temperaturen liggen tussen de -40 en 20 graden Celsius en de regenval is 300 tot 900 mm per jaar. Deze biomen worden gekenmerkt door groenblijvende naaldbomen, en ze bevinden zich in Noord-Amerika, Europa en Azië. |
