Dutch ..... Orde van ongeveer 600 tweekleppige dieren met ongelijke kleppen in hun schelpen. Gewoonlijk hebben ze geen tanden op de plaats waar de schelpen scharnieren. Kenmerkend zijn onder meer de uitsteeksels van calciet op de schelpen. |
