Note: Refers to the style of late Anglo-Saxon art that flourished during the ninth century and is named after the Trewhiddle Hoard from Cornwall, England. The style is characterized by its distinctive decoration with interlaced, contorted beasts and leafy scrolls, and in metalwork by the preference for silver rather than bronze. |

In de metaalbewerking valt de voorkeur op voor zilver boven brons. |
