Note: Refers to the style of art collected and produced by the emperor, artist Ch'ien-lung (reigned 1736-1795). His collection focused on porcelain, bronzes, jades, calligraphy and rare books. In ceramics, the style is characterized by the production of fine famille rose porcelain. In painting the style is characterized by detailed bird and flower painting that were the products of both the emperor and court painters. The emperor's fascination with Europe led to the development of a Rococo-Chinese style in architecture.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指乾隆皇帝（西元1736年至1795年在位）收藏、創作的藝術風格。乾隆的收藏以瓷器、青銅器、玉器、法書、珍本書為主。在陶藝方面，此時特色是質地細緻的粉彩瓷製作。繪畫方面的特色是乾隆與宮廷畫家所創作，畫工細膩的花鳥畫。乾隆喜愛歐洲風格，因而在建築方面發展出中式洛可可風。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van kunst die werd verzameld en vervaardigd door de keizer, kunstenaar Ch'ien-lung (aan de macht van 1736 tot 1795). Zijn verzameling bestond voornamelijk uit porselein, bronzen en jade voorwerpen, kalligrafie en zeldzame boeken. Kenmerkend voor keramiek in deze stijl is fine-famille-roseporselein. In de schilderkunst wordt de stijl gekenmerkt door gedetailleerde vogel- en bloemschilderingen die zowel werden vervaardigd door de keizer zelf als door hofschilders. De fascinatie van de keizer voor Europa leidde tot de ontwikkeling van een Chinese rococostijl in de architectuur. |
