Het heeft roomwit spinthout, met een groenachtig of soms paarsachtig accent. Het wordt gebruikt voor het maken van schrijnwerk, deuren en lambriseringen. |
Spanish ..... Madera del árbol perteneciente a la especie del mismo nombre, nativo de los bosques de la planicie costera atlántica desde Virginia a Tejas. Tiene un albumen blanco cremoso, con un tinte verdoso y a veces violáceo, y se utiliza para ebanistería, puertas y paneles. |
