Spanish ..... Madera del árbol pertenecientes a la especie Ostrya virginiana, nativa de Canadá y Estados Unidos. El nombre alternativo de madera de hábito denso es confuso porque comparado con otras maderas de este nombre, la de los Ostyra no merece el apelativo. Es una especie menor poco disponible y se utiliza para fabricar mangos, piezas de vehículos e implementos agrícolas. |
