polyacrylamide (acrylic (resin), thermoplastic, ... Materials (hierarchy name)) |
|
Note: Acrylic resin produced by the the polymerization of acrylamide (C3H5NO), a compound obtained by the hydration of acrylonitrile. Polyacrylamide does not have the toxic effects of acrylamide monomer and is hydrophilic. It can form aqueous solutions of very high concentration and because of their gel-like properties, has been used in the conservation of works of art. |
