Dutch ..... Natriumchloride dat in de natuur voorkomt als, of mechanisch wordt gewonnen uit, een mineraalafzetting, en in de vorm van grote kristallen wordt verkocht. Steenzout wordt gebruikt om ijs te doen smelten, als conserveringsmiddel, en voor de productie van natriumcarbonaat in de glasindustrie. Gebruik 'haliet' voor het mineraal dat bestaat uit natriumchloride. |
