Note: Cultures and styles of the Thao people lived in Taiwan. The Thao people primarily live in Yuchi Township and Shuili Township, Nantou County. Thao used to be categorized as one of the branches of the Tsou people. In 2001 it gained official recognition as an indigenous people. Thao’s social organization revolves around patriarchal clans and families, passing on hereditary roles from generation to generation. Tribal politics, economy and religious office follow the organization of clans as well. The major festival of the Thao people is the worship of ancestral spirits in August in the Lunar calendar.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 居住於臺灣的邵族族群所屬文化風格。邵族主要居住於南投縣魚池鄉與水里鄉，過去曾被視為鄒族的一支，於2001年成為獨立的法定原住民族。以父系氏族與家戶為社會組織單位。邵族的社會組織以世襲方式延續制度，部落政治、經濟與宗教職務上的分工也以氏族為劃分。主要祭儀為農曆八月的祖靈祭。 |
