| Dutch ..... Een soort röntgenfluorescentie die wordt gebruikte voor elementenanalyse, waarbij elementen in een monster worden geëxciteerd. Vervolgens wordt de uitgezonden straling gebroken met behulp van bijvoorbeeld een kristal of monochromator, zodat de intensiteit van röntgenstralen met een specifieke golflengte kan worden gemeten.
