Dutch ..... Een mineraal op koperbasis, kopercarbonaathydroxide, dat vaak wordt gebruikt in sieraden. De kleur varieert van zeer diepblauw tot bleekblauw. Azuriet wordt vaak samen gevonden met het groene mineraal malachiet, als gevolg van verwering en oxidatie van kopersulfide. |
Spanish ..... Un mineral a base de cobre, hidróxido de carbonato de cobre que a menudo es usado en la joyería llevandolo a los límites del azul profundo hasta palidecer el azul. La azurita a menudo se encuentra en asociación con el mineral de malaquita verde, siendo resultado del desgaste y la oxidación del sulfuro de cobre. |
