Note: A style of temple architecture found in southern India characterized by terraced towers, sometimes pyramidal in shape, with a domed structure at the top; each terraced storey is enclosed by a balustrade and ringed by small architectural aediculae. The aediculae can be square-domed structures on the corners (kutas) and intermediate barrel-vaulted halls (salas) connected by segments of a miniature vaulted cloister (hara). This style of stone temple architecture began in the seventh century and continued to develop over the centuries.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 用指發展於印度南部的一種廟宇建築風格,梯塔是此風格的特色,有時呈金字塔形,頂端有圓頂結構,每個梯塔都圍繞著欄杆,並由小寺廟環繞,這種小寺廟的四角可能是方形圓頂結構(kutas庫塔),並有錯落的桶形圓拱會室(salas薩拉斯),由小型圓拱迴廊連結。此風格的石廟建築始於西元十七世紀,並於之後持續發展。 
Dutch ..... Stijl van tempelarchitectuur uit Zuid-India die wordt gekenmerkt door terrasvormige torens, soms met een piramidevorm, met bovenaan een koepelstructuur; ieder terrasniveau is omsloten door een balustrade, met rondom kleine architecturale aediculae. De aediculae kunnen de vorm hebben van structuren met een vierkante koepel op de hoeken (kuta's) en halverwege geplaatste ruimten met een tongewelf (sala's) welke met elkaar zijn verbonden door segmenten met een overdekte kloostergang in miniatuurvorm (hara). Deze stijl van in steen uitgevoerde tempelarchitectuur is in de 17de eeuw ontstaan en heeft zich door de eeuwen heen verder ontwikkeld. 
Spanish ..... Un estilo de arquitectura de templo encontrada en India del sur caracterizada por torres formando terrazas, a veces de forma piramidal, con una estructura abovedada en la cima; cada nivel de terrazas está encerrado por una balaustrada y circundado por pequeños edículos arquitectónicos. Los edículos pueden ser estructuras en forma de cúpula cuadrada en las esquinas (kutas) y pasillos intermedios abovedados (salas) conectados por segmentos de un claustro abovedado en miniatura (hara). Este estilo de arquitectura de templo de piedra empezó en el siglo VII y continuó desarrollándose a través de los siglos.
