The latest issue of Getty magazine is now out. Read about a promising way to save rock art, the new online exhibition Return to Palmyra, how Getty’s long-standing diversity internship program is making a difference, and how a new acquisition of 39 drawings sheds light on why 17th-century Dutch artists are so renowned.

Honoring Black History Month

Pandora

Tune in to a virtual reading of award-winning writer and director Laurel Ollstein’s new script Pandora, presented in partnership with TheatreWorks Silicon Valley. This theatrical retelling of the first human female to appear in Greek mythology asks: What if a woman was suddenly created and dropped into the middle of the world now? Someone with no preconceived notions of anything–like beauty, love, or violence? And what if the rest of humanity and the gods could suddenly see the world through those clear eyes? Pandora is free and available for streaming between February 26, 5 p.m. PT and March 19, 11:59 p.m. PT. Advance sign-up is required to receive the link.
