	Mama Quilla (Inca deity)

Note: Moon goddess and sister-wife to Inti. She was the regulator of women’s menstrual cycles. The waxing and waning of the moon was used to calculate months and time periods for Inca festivals. Silver was considered to be tears of the moon.
