Mexican Revolution (Mexican history, 1910-1920)

Note: Armed conflict in Mexico that ended the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz and the rule of landowners and industrialists. Main insurgent leaders included Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata. While reforms were set in the 1917 constitution, they were not institutionalized until the 1930s under the presidency of Lázaro Cárdenas.
