Tondal (Irish knight, Visions of Tondal, 12th century)

Note: Irish knight in the Visions of Tondal; the original author, Brother Marcus, writes in Latin as if retelling a story told to him by Tondal, who had lived a sinful life but during an illness had visions of heaven and hell that converted him to a better life. The story was written down in Latin ca. 1149.
