Oath of the Horatii (Roman narrative)

Note: Narrative concerning the oath of three brothers, the Horatii, who agree to fight a rival group to the death in order to save their city, Rome. Was said to have taken place during the war between Rome and Alba Longa in the reign of Tullus Hostilius (traditionally 672–642 BCE).
