Note: Member of the Mollet family of architects and garden designers. He was employed by Queen Christina of Sweden, and Charles I and Charles II of England. He published a treatise on garden design which asserted the importance of harmony between a garden and its surrounding buildings. French gardener, act. 17th cent. |
