Ordering and Reproducing Images from the J. Paul Getty Museum's Collection
The J. Paul Getty Museum grants permission to download collection images from our Web site for your own personal and non-commercial use, or for fair use as defined in the United States copyright laws. Requests for all other uses must be made in writing, and the Museum will only consider requests to use or reproduce images of objects in its collection for scholarly, educational, or non-commercial purposes. Each request is separately considered, and permission is granted on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Museum. Fees apply depending on the type and nature of the intended use.
Note: The Museum does not give permission for commercial use such as promoting other products, advertising, etc. Please contact the Merchandise Development office for permission to create merchandise and a fee quote (see contact information at right).
