Second Anglo-Mysore War (European-Indian history, 1780-1784)

Note: Armed conflict between the British East India Company and Haidar Ali's Kingdom of Mysore, with hostilities beginning after the British seized the port of Mahé from the French, and widening after the British also declared war against the Dutch. The French and British made peace in 1783, and a Treaty of Mangalore was signed in 1784 by the British and the Mysore kingdom.
