Gloria in Excelcis Deo (hymn, Christian, 4th century)

Note: A short verse or hymn in Latin, praising God. By tradition, the Latin version is attributed to 4th-century Saint Hilary of Poitiers, who may have learned a similar Greek hymn while in the East. It is part of a loose tradition of early Latin translations of the scripture known as the Vetus Latina.
