Saint Thomas Receiving the Virgin Mary's Girdle (Christian iconography)

Note: Narrative in which all the apostles except Thomas were miraculously transported to Jerusalem to witness the death of the Virgin Mary. Thomas was in India, where he was preaching; after her burial, he was transported to the tomb of Mary tomb where he witnessed her bodily assumption into heaven; Mary dropped her belt (girdle) to him as proof. The other apostles are skeptical of Thomas' story, until they see the girdle and the empty tomb; an inversion of the story of the doubting Thomas story.
