Neoptolemus (Greek character)
Note: Greek warrior; child of Achilles and Deïdamia, daughter of King Lycomedes of Scyros; he was sometimes called Pyrrhus, meaning “Red-haired.” He fought bravely and took part in the capture of Troy but committed the sacrilege of slaying the aged king Priam at an altar. In one version of the story, he is the one who threw the baby Astyanax from the ramparts of Troy.
