Note: By age 17 Wallowitch had three prints in the The Museum of Modern Art; in its Photographs by 51 Photographers, August 1–September 17, 1950 at the Museum, and others in its Christmas Photographs, November 29, 1951–January 6, 1952. He was a colleague and romantic partner of Andy Warhol, who used his photographs as source material for paintings in the early 1960s. |
