|
Note: A French sculptor in Paris during the reign of Louis XIV, Magnier began as a sculptor of religious works, and gained the patronage of Chancelor Séguier and Sublet de Noyers. As his career progressed he began to work on royal residences, particularly with the architect Pierre Bullet. His son, Philippe, was also a sculptor. |
