Coudray, François (French sculptor, 1678-1727)
|
Note: A French sculptor who worked in Coysevox's studio and apprenticed at Gobelins. He took the '2nd petit prix' from the French Academy in 1699. In 1715 he requested Royal permission to move to Dresden to work for Augustus the Strong. In 1716 he moved there, remaining in the city until his death. |
