|
Note: Spanish painter was a student of Sorolla at the Academy San Carlos in Valencia; then undertook further study in Madrid and Paris where he stayed after 1926, with frequent trips back to Spain. He also traversed Italy. He participated in the Exposition of Spanish Art in Bordeaux in 1928, and the Exposicion de Bellas Artes, Madrid, 1934, and is known for interpreting the folklore and traditions of Valencia; painting portraits, landscapes, and decorative motifs. |
