|
Note: English silver manufacturer that supplied retailers throughout the British empire with a wide variety of silver and plated household goods. The company was created in 1852 when Roberts & Hall (previously Wilkinson & Roberts) amalgamated with Martin & Naylor, and became a limited company in 1866. Although based in Sheffield, the company had factories in London and Birmingham with showrooms in London and Glasgow. The company went into liquidation in 1933 and was closed by 1936. |
