Note: In 1851, Eichmann operated a studio in Lübeck, Germany, with another photographer, L. Riel. The partnership was possibly called "Eichmann & Riel". Ca. late 1850s, Eichmann was working with Riel in a daguerreotype studio in Hamburg, Germany. It is probable that Eichmann also worked alone as the photograph (PH1982:0544) in the CCA collection is stamped "D. Eichmann/Hamburg". |
