Benedetto di Bindo (Italian painter, active by 1409, died 1417)

Note: He may have been a pupil of Paolo di Giovanni Fei; was influenced by Taddeo di Bartolo and Simone Martini. He is first recorded on 20 November 1409 in payment by the Opera del Duomo di Siena. He was responsible for fresco decoration of the three chapels in the sacristy of Siena Cathedral 1411/1412), which was one the most prestigious commissions in Siena at that date.
