Note: Child of Sir John Fleming, 1st Baronet, and his wife Jane Coleman. Sister of Seymour Dorothy Fleming. She married Charles Stanhope, Viscount Petersham, 3rd Earl of Harrington. Jane was a socialite, heiress, and lady of the bedchamber to the British queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She was an amateur painter, who may have taken lessons from John Glover, for whom she was patron. |
