Note: In a document of February 1447 Giovanni da Pisa is named as a member of Donatello's Paduan workshop, where he apparently worked between 1444 and 1449, working on the high altar in Il Santo with Donatello's other assistants, Niccolò Pizzolo, Urbano da Cortona, Antonio Chellini, and Francesco del Valente. He may have died in Venice. |
