Note: Village with Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze Age, and Byzantine archaeological sites located nearby in the Vasilikos Valley. Mycenaean and Cypriot pottery and rich tombs have been found, and indications that above-ground structures existed. It is as yet unclear if these are multiple sites or one site, although the above-gound structures could indicate that occupation occurred over a long period of time. Copper mines are nearby. |
