Note: The county commune of Vestsjælland was located in the west of Zealand, Denmark, created in 1970 from the former counties of Sorø and Holbæk. The land in the county was fertile and supports crop raising, pig farming, and dairying. The county seat was Soro. The 2004 population estimate was 302,200. In 2007, all counties in Denmark were eliminated and five large regions created. |
