Note: Located on a defensible mountain site with nearby clay for pottery and limestone for building, approximately 7 km from the town of Ağlasun. Numerous Neolithic sites are in the area. Sagalossos was an agricultural center by 1650 BCE. It was also a major Pisidian center. It was taken by Alexander in 334 BCE, and later by Rome, and then Goths. |
