Note: A lithographic printing process achieved by drawing with lithographic chalk, also called crayon, on a grained stone roughened by fine sand. The drawing chalk or crayon adheres to the grain, making shading possible. Applied ink adheres to the chalked area, and is then transferred to paper for the final print.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種平版印刷法，在以細砂磨粗的石板上用平版印刷墨條（lithographic chalk）〔或稱石版蠟筆（crayon）〕描繪圖樣，繪圖粉筆或蠟筆會附著在砂粒上，從而可以進行著色。描繪過的地方會吸附油墨，最後印刷時再將油墨轉印到紙上。 |
| Dutch ..... Lithografisch drukprocedé dat wordt gemaakt door met lithografische kalk, ook wel krijt genoemd, te tekenen op een korrelige steen die is opgeruwd door fijn zand. De aangebrachte inkt hecht zich aan het oppervlak met krijt en wordt vervolgens overgebracht naar papier voor de uiteindelijke afdruk. |
