Note: Farmhouses typical of the Eiderstedt peninsula in Germany. These have square floor plans and a wooden framework on which rests a pyramid-shaped reed roof. Hay is stacked in the central space of the building, surrounded by the living quarters, stalls and other storage areas. |

Dutch ..... Boerderijen met vierkant grondplan en houten geraamte waarop een piramidevormig, meestal rieten dak steunt. In de centrale ruimte wordt het hooi gestapeld, de ruimtes daar rond zijn ingericht tot woongedeelte, stallen en andere bergruimtes. |
