Note: A spectrometer-based OCT technique using a broadband light source and an interferometer. A low-loss spectrometer measures the spectrum of the interference pattern of light returned from the reference and sample arms of the interferometer. SDOCT has been used in a conservation science context for noninvasive and noncontact assessment of varnish layer thickness and structure on easel paintings.

| Dutch ..... Een spectrometrische OCT-techniek die gebruik maakt van een breedbandlichtbron en een interferometer. Een laag-verlies-spectrometer meet het spectrum van het interferentiepatroon van het licht dat wordt weerkaatst vanaf de twee armen van de interferometer: één met de referentie en één met het monster. SDOCT wordt ook wel gebruikt in de restauratiewetenschap, als niet-invasieve en niet-contacterende techniek voor het vaststellen van de dikte en structuur van de vernislaag op ezelschilderijen. |
