Note: A dynamic x-ray imaging technique used to examine the internal structure of an object, fluoroscopy produces real time video images by converting x-rays into light (via a fluorescent screen) which is captured by a TV camera. Fluoroscopy is used primarily for medical imaging, but also in the examination of archaeological finds and works of art.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Een dynamische beeldvormingstechniek met röntgenstralen, waarmee de interne structuur van een object kan worden onderzocht. Er worden real-time videobeelden gegenereerd door röntgenstralen via een fluorescerend scherm om te zetten in licht, dat vervolgens met een televisiecamera wordt vastgelegd. Fluorescopie wordt met name bij medische beeldvorming gebruikt, maar ook bij onderzoek van archeologische vondsten en kunstwerken.
