Note: Small sliding beads that were used to suspend the inro, tobacco pouches and money purses from the wearer's belt. These beads were made out of a variety of materials such as glass, bone, wood, lacquer, jade and ivory. They sometimes featured intricate carved designs or were carved into the shape of animals or human figures. |

Dutch ..... Kleine kralen die men gebruikte om een inro, tabakszak of geldbuideltje aan de riem te hangen. Deze kralen werden gemaakt van verschillende materialen, zoals glas, been, hout, lak, jade en ivoor. Soms waren ze voorzien van complexe gravures of hadden ze de vorm van dieren of menselijke figuren. |
