Note: A type of art glass developed and produced by the Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (W.M.F.) by Karl Weidman ca. 1926. It is characterized by the use of colorless, raw glass made iridescent by a silver stain and then matte fired, resulting in a shimmering metallic surface. |

Dutch ..... Type kunstglas dat circa 1926 is ontwikkeld en geproduceerd door Karl Weidman, voor de Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (W.M.F.). De techniek wordt gekenmerkt door toepassing van kleurloos, ruw glas dat iriserend wordt gemaakt door zilvergeel en vervolgens mat wordt gebakken, waarna een glinsterend metaalachtig oppervlak resulteert. |
