Note: A printing process in which sandpaper is laid face down on the grounded plate and the two are passed together through an intaglio press. The result is an etching ground perforated all over with the granular texture of the sand which will translate to small black dots on the finished print.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 將砂紙面朝下放在塗有防腐蝕劑的印版上，兩者一起通過凹版印刷機的印刷技法。防蝕層上會形成佈滿沙粒狀紋理的孔洞，在最終的印刷成品上印出細小黑點。 |
| Dutch ..... Een drukprocedé waarbij schuurpapier met de schuurzijde naar beneden op de plaat met etsgrond wordt gelegd en deze tezamen door een intaglio-pers worden gehaald. Het resultaat is een etsgrond die overal is geperforeerd met de korrelstructuur van het zand, die op de eindafdruk wordt omgezet in zwarte puntjes. |
