Note: Members of a family of large marine stalk-eyed ten-footed long-tailed crustacean having a first pair of feet that are very large and form the characteristic claws (chelae), a rigid segmented exoskeleton, compound eyes on movable stalks, two pairs of long antennae, and a flipper-like muscular tail that is used for swimming by propelling the animal backward. Members of other families of crustaceans may have the word "lobster" in their common name. |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 涵蓋大型海生十足甲殼綱動物的科;具眼柄,尾部較長,第一對螫足非常大,形成特有的鉗(螯)。分段的外殼十分堅硬,複眼則長在可動的眼柄上,擁有兩對長長的觸鬚,健壯的尾部呈鳍狀,用以游泳,在水中向後推進。在甲殼類動物中,其他科的成員俗稱「龍蝦」。 |
